Maintenance

To keep the board in good condition, use mineral oil and beeswax for maintenance. Apply the board paste with a cloth, hand, or paper towel whenever the board feels dry or loses its shine and water resistance. It’s best to apply the paste frequently to protect the board from moisture and heat.

Cleaning

Washing the board requires hand washing with quality dishwashing detergent, warm or hot water, and a cloth, sponge, or scrubby brush. To prevent warping, it’s recommended to wash both sides of the board.

Sanatizing

To sanitize the board, use a 2:1 water and white vinegar solution or a mixture of coarse salt and lemon. Scrub the board for a minute or two with the solution or lemon, then wash as usual.

Storing

When storing the board, make sure to place it in an area with consistent airflow, away from extreme temperature or moisture changes.
