Welcome to Expedition Board Co! My name is Samuel Tays, and I am the founder of Expedition Board Co. I was born and raised in San Diego, California, but I currently reside in the beautiful city of Ocala, Florida. Expedition Board Co was born out of my love for woodworking, which began in high school when I took a woodworking class. Since then, I have been honing my skills, and at the beginning of 2023, I decided to turn my passion into a business. As an avid outdoorsman, my cutting board designs are heavily influenced by the natural world. I love to incorporate natural materials and textures into my work, and each cutting board I create is a unique piece that tells a story.

When I’m not busy in the workshop, you can find me exploring the great outdoors and camping with my family and friends.
